On Thursday, 4 March 2021, a meeting was held to establish synergies between projects funded by the Erasmus+ CBHE program, including the following projects: STOREM, SUS-TER, and HEARTH. During the meeting, different strategies were discussed regarding mobility problems and requests for project extensions in consideration of the global pandemic due to Covid-19, while taking into account the specificities of each project. The three projects plan to share information of interest that can be disseminated through their respective channels, and to collaborate on future communication activities in which colleagues from all three projects can participate (virtually or in-person). A common theme of the STOREM and SUS-TER projects is their work on the social inclusion of vulnerable populations. As both of the projects have valuable institutional networks at the local level in Colombia, a collaborative strategy for sharing networks would be mutually beneficial to both projects. Further meetings are planned between the projects and partners in Colombia on the subjects of social inclusion and the coordination of future joint dissemination activities, such as workshops and webinars. A theme that could be jointly explored is that of the “valorisation of territories through tourism.” Further synergies and collaborations will also be explored with colleagues at Gestion Cultural (UB) and other similar projects.
