Universidad EAFIT (COLOMBIA)

Created in 1960, EAFIT University is private academic institution located in Medellin, Colombia, with a high quality recognition accredited by the Ministry of Education. EAFIT has highly recognized research groups in Marine Sciences and Environmental Geology within its Department of Earth Sciences. Its Master’s Program in Earth Sciences offers advanced training in natural processes and applications for the development of basic and applied research projects for environmental management. This Master’s program will be enriched by new courses on watershed-coastal connections and beach tourism being developed as part of the STOREM Project. EAFIT also leads the project’s Work Package on Dissemination, including website development and outreach initiatives to promote student enrollment in the STOREM pathway and the involvement of the private sector.
